In India, Volkswagen is all set to launch its new sedan Virtus on March 8. Recently, the company had introduced a report of introducing Virtus in India. Now the company has also released the teaser of the car. This car is also expected to get class leading interior and boot space. The new Volkswagen Virtus GT is set to compete with the Skoda Slavia, Honda City, Hyundai Verna and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz to be launched in India. 

Specifications: The teaser posted by Volkswagen shows that The Vertex is also going to be introduced to the top-spec GT version. The features of the GT version may also be different. Talking about the design, the teaser of which shows that it is also being given unique sporty bits on the outside. In this car you are getting to see a different design for gt badge and alloy wheels. At the same time, the GT version is going to see a 1.5-liter TSI turbo petrol engine. 

Engine: In the Volkswagen Virtus, you are being given a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which is also being worked out to generate a maximum power of 108 bhp and a peak torque of 175 Nm. With this engine, 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter are also getting automatic gearbox.

The Volkswagen Virtus GT is also being given a new 1.5- liter turbocharged petrol engine, which has also been used in the Taigun. The engine can also generate a power of 147 bhp and a torque of 250 Nm. With this engine is being given a 7-speed DSG gearbox.

Features and price: You can see an electric sunroof, a large touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument console, 6 airbags, automatic AC, LED projector headlamps, LED tail-light and many other features in Volkswagen Virtus. The price of the Volkswagen Vertus car can be kept between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom).
