New Delhi: Counting has begun in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Puducherry, Kerala. Trends will start appearing in a short while from now and gradually the picture of the results will become clearer.  This time there is a clash between the Left and the Congress alliance in Kerala. The results of panchayat elections and other polls are also coming up today.

Preparations for counting votes for the three-tier Panchayat elections in Prayagraj have been completed. Counting of votes will begin at 7 am in 23 development blocks today. 10,000 polling personnel and officials have been deployed for counting. Counting will be under the supervision of CCTV cameras. Corona protocol will be followed at counting centers. It will be mandatory to follow masks and social dispensing. Without 48 hours ago, there will be no entry in the counting centers of the covid negative report. With this, three-tier security arrangements have been made at the counting places.

Tight arrangements have also been made for security personnel to prevent corona infection. Polling personnel and policemen have been put on duty in the 8-hour shift. Magistrates will also be posted till the counting is over. State that the term of the West Bengal Assembly ends on May 30, 2021. In such a situation, the process of forming the Assembly and the new government is to be completed before 30th May. West Bengal has a total of 294 assembly seats. Mamata Banerjee has been the CM here for the last 10 years.
