Discussion about the return of former team captain MS Dhoni to Team India is in full swing. The question is, will Dhoni be able to return to the Indian team? Meanwhile, Wasim Jaffer, the former India opener and the runner in India's domestic cricket, has a different opinion about former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
According to reports, Jaffer has written through his official Twitter handle that if Dhoni stays fit and in form, he will be very important in the Indian middle order and as a wicketkeeper in the T20 World Cup. Dhoni will be under pressure from KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant due to being in the team and Pant can also get a chance as a left-handed batsman. Recently, former India team explosive batsman Virender Sehwag gave a big statement about Dhoni's return to the Indian team. He said in an event on Tuesday that Dhoni's return to Team India is impossible even after a good performance in the 13th season of IPL.
If Dhoni is fit and in form I think we can't look beyond him as he'll be an asset behind the stumps and also lower down the order. It'll take the pressure of keeping off Rahul and India can play Pant as a batsman too if they want a lefty. #Dhoni #MSDhoni #IPL2020 pic.twitter.com/6ndDfdhkap
