Shocking news from television world that shake the whole industry. New Year proved not lucky for as one of the most prominent director of television industry Wasim Sabir due to a brain injury has passed on January 2.

He was director of small screen shows like Veera, Gangaa, Tamannaah and Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon.

As per reports, "Wasim fell down at his house on 1 January then he was immediately rushed to the hospital by family. But on Monday, he passed away after battling for life for a day. His last rites will be performed once his brother flies down from Middle East."
