Palak Muchhal shot to fame for her melodious voice in songs of Aashiqui 2, has tied the knot with composer Mithoon Sharma. Their wedding was held in Mumbai on Sunday, November 6. The musical couple then held a reception in the evening, which was attended by various popular celebrities.
The Duo also shared the wedding photos on Instagram with identical captions, which read, “आज हम दो सदैव के लिये एक हुए । And forever begins… ♥️.” In the photos, Palak can be seen in a red lehenga while Mithoon is wearing a beige sherwani. He used a red stole to match his bride’s attire. They are setting major couple goals from their latest pictures.
For the special day, Palak chose the traditional route and wore the quintessential red lehenga with golden work on it. Mithoon complemented her in a cream colour sherwani with a maroon-colored turban and dupatta. As soon as the couple posted their wedding photos, several celebrities, including Jasleen Royal, Neeti Mohan, Avika Gor and Smriti Mandhana congratulated the newlyweds.
The reception was attended by their friends from the industry. Sonu Nigam and Kailash Kher, Krishika Lulla, Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla, and Salim Merchant were spotted making their way to the reception venue. The couple was in a relationship for a long time. The photos of their Haldi and Mehndi ceremonies are doing rounds on the internet.
