Ravichandran Ashwin is frequently active on social media when not on the field. Whether outside or on the cricket field, the spinner never fails to demonstrate his mastery of the craft. The footballer recently shared a video on his Instagram account in which he shows his followers how to shine a cricket ball. Since Ashwin is the one producing the video, it had better be intriguing. In the video, Ashwin shines the ball while matching the tempo to the popular Bollywood song "Kala Chashma."

Ashwin has been included in the 15-person India team for the forthcoming T20 World Cup, which will be held in Australia in October-November.

Days prior, New Zealand spinner Daniel Vettori had confidence in the Indian spinner to perform well in the international competition. Vettori believes that Ashwin will benefit from his swift learning curve and in-depth understanding of the Australian environment during the T20 World Cup.

"We all know Ashwin has been exceptional in Tests. The thing for him is he's coming off a great IPL, and he's obviously included in the T20 squad for India," the former New Zealand captain told reporters.

Ashwin participated in 17 games of the IPL 2022 and recorded 12 wickets at an economy rate of 7.51 in addition to hitting 191 runs at a strike rate of 141.48. "He's one of those guys who's very adaptable, he understands what he needs to do in all situations. I think if he's picked, he will know how to perform. He's been to Australia on a number of occasions," the 43-year-old said.
