New Delhi: People's day in Delhi-NCR began on Friday morning with torrential rains. Delhi and its adjoining areas such as Ghaziabad, Noida, Greater Noida, etc., started receiving heavy rains early in the morning, due to which people going to offices had to face a lot of problems. Due to heavy rains, waterlogging has also been created in many areas. In some places, vehicles were also seen crawling slowly. There were also traffic jams in many areas.

However, due to heavy rains, the temperature of the capital has also dropped and the weather has become pleasant. It has been raining every day in Delhi for the past several days. The MET department has also issued a rain alert for the entire week. After a week, rain activity is expected to decrease. According to the MET department, today's minimum temperature in Delhi is going to be 27 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature is likely to be 34 degrees Celsius. An alert of heavy rain has been issued by the IMD.

On Saturday too, there is a possibility of cloudy skies and rain in the capital. From August 9, the rainfall activity may be reduced. A cloudy sky is expected from August 9 to 11.
