Simhasth Mahakumbh 2016 took place Friday April 22,16 in the holy city of Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh and set to gearing up to welcome millions of devotees for the Simhastha Kumbh Mela. It is speculated that around 5 crore devotees will visit holy land for the biggest religious congregations.

The Kumbh Melas are conventionally held at four holy cities in the country– Haridwar Kumbh Mela, Allahabad Kumbh Mela, Nashik-Trimbakeshwar Simhastha and the Ujjain Simhastha. It is alleged that the Kumbh takes place in Nashik and Ujjain, while a planet is in Leo (Simha) also known as Simhastha.

And one of the most part of t he Kumbh, the shahi-snan in Shipra river will commence from April 22 to May 21, 2016. And we are here to help to reach the holy city if you are not so familiar with the city or transport.

By Road

If you choose to discover the city while traveling by road, then taking a road trip might also sound quite cool. The roads are quite urbanized and developed and buses ply regularly, linking it with other cities.   

By Train

By Air

Also, you have a option to reach through the air transport service, if you are travelling from air then Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport in Indore is connected with all the major cities and can fly you comfortably. The airport is 57 km away, so you can opt for cabs, buses or any other means of local transportation.
