'We are fighting against thieves' says Hardik Patel at Mamata Banerjee's Mega Rally

Kolkata:  West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's mega Rally 'United India' has began at Brigade Parade grounds Kolkata.  The rally began at 11.42 am Saturday with Mamata Banerjee inviting youth leaderHardik Patel for the opening address. 

Patidar leader Patel urged the people to fight against "thieves" in the country like Bengali freedom fighter Subhas Bose fought against the British.  Gujarat Patidar leader Hardik Patel on Saturday said while Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose had given a call to fight against the 'goro' (Britishers) "we are fighting against 'choro' (thieves)."

Patidar  thanked West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for bringing all major opposition leaders on one platform and pointing towards 'jansalab' (mass gathering) said it was an indication that BJP is on its way out of power.

The machinations of the grand alliance for the General Elections have been set afoot with this mega rally. Leaders from more than 22 national and regional political parties which include a former prime minister and several union ministers, sitting chief ministers and former chief ministers are present in the rally.

Five massive stages have been set up at the venue with the main stage, opposite the Victoria Memorial Hall, will accommodate senior leaders including Banerjee.
