We need to educate children on internet usage for positive purposes: Governor Sundararajan

Hyderabad: Governor Dr Tamilisai Sundararajan on Friday inaugurated a two-day international conference organized by Millennium Infotech Inc (MITI) and First Meridian Group, at the HITEX Exhibition Centre. The two-day international conference called Global Ignite - 2021 aims to bring executives from different businesses on a common platform to accelerate the digital transformation processes. It aims to bring together innovators and visionaries from around the world to share their knowledge and unique experiences across all industry sectors to accelerate innovations in their organizations.

In the inaugural function of the conference, the Governor said that today's world cannot be imagined without the Internet. In particular "we need to educate children on its use for positive purposes". Explaining the efforts of the Central Government to provide net connectivity, the Governor said that 2.4 lakh villages have been provided internet facility. “Efforts are being made to connect more than six lakh villages by 2024.

Earlier, welcoming Ramana Crosuri, CEO, Millennium Infotech said that the conference provides a platform for visionaries to exchange ideas on accelerating digital transformation. Justice Chandraiah (Retd) participated in the events, along with Dr. Tamilisai Sundararajan; Laxmikant, MD, Broad Ridge; Deepti Ravula, CEO, Wethub; Suresh Chitturi, Chairman, International Egg Commission; Srikanth Sinha, CEO, Task, Telangana; Benjamin Joseph, Senior Vice President, Millennium Infotech, and IT Specialist, IT Staff and Engineering, Management Student.
