New Delhi: After losing the Lok Sabha membership, the official bungalow of former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has become a topic of discussion in political circles. Now Congress supremo Mallikarjun Khadge has accused the BJP of 'weakening' Rahul Gandhi. Along with this, he has also offered to give his bungalow to the Congress leader. Let us inform that, on behalf of the Lok Sabha House Committee, Rahul has been given one month's time to vacate the house.
According to media reports, Khadge said, 'BJP will make every effort to weaken Rahul Gandhi. He can stay at his mother's (Sonia Gandhi) place, or if he comes to us, we will give him a place in our house. I condemn this intimidating, threatening attitude of the government. It has happened many times that we (MPs) have been without a home for 3–4 months. Khadge said, 'I condemn the attitude of the government to intimidate, threaten, and humiliate Rahul Gandhi. This is not a method. Sometimes we were without a bungalow for 3–4 months. I got my bungalow after six months. People do this to humiliate others.
At the same time, another Congress MP, Ranjit Ranjan, said, 'Did Rahul Gandhi say that he will not vacate the house? I have been an MP since June 29th, and I have not had a bungalow for nine months, and the person whose membership expired a few days ago got an eviction notice. Minister Madam (Smriti Irani), you have given houses to so many people for the past 2–3 years.
