Dehradun: Rain and snowfall in Uttarakhand have increased the cold. Most of the districts including Dehradun have been cloudy since Thursday morning. It is also raining from time to time. At the same time, snowfall has started in the hill areas of the state. The process of snowfall has started in all the four dhams of Uttarakhand. Snowfall continues in Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri since morning.

There is heavy snowfall in Badrinath Dham, Hemkund Sahib. According to the information, more than 4 feet of snow has been accumulated so far. Auli also has more than 2 feet of snow and is constantly snowing. The weather in the capital Dehradun has been bad since morning. It is drizzling here intermittently. The weather has changed in Mussoorie too. Due to rain, there has been a drastic drop in temperature. If Chamoli is to be told, the process of snowfall continues here late in the night.

The white sheet of snow has taken the mountains in its wake. In the plains also, people have started resorting to fire to avoid the cold. Light rain has continued in Rishikesh since late night. It is cloudy in Haridwar, due to which the coolness has increased. At the same time, there is a fog in Roorkee.
