New Delhi: Storm, rain and hailstorms have broken the back of farmers amid the outbreak of Coronavirus. Recently, standing crops in the fields have been destroyed due to rain in many states including Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Delhi-NCR. Now on 26 and 27 March, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of rain once again in Delhi and NCR and surrounding states.

According to the Meteorological Department, due to western disturbance and in these two days, there may be rain with thunderstorms in NCR. It will be mildly cloudy throughout the day although it will not affect the temperature much. The Meteorological Department says that there will be light rain with lightning on the evening of 26 March while there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunderstorm on 27 March.

Meanwhile, winds will run at a speed of 40-50 km per hour. On the night of 26 to 27 March, there will be rain with thunderstorms in Punjab, Haryana, Western UP, Rajasthan. Thunderstorms and hail storms are expected in Uttarakhand on 27th. This unseasonal rain of farmers already facing lockdown due to Corona has also increased the problem.
