New Delhi: The weather has been pleasant for a few days in its adjoining areas including the national capital Delhi. Delhi's temperature has been witnessing a daily decline since the heavy rain on July 6. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, Delhi will be cloudy throughout the day today. It may also intermittently cause light rain.

In Uttar Pradesh too, the monsoon has knocked. The Met department has predicted cloudy weather in Lucknow and adjoining areas and intermittent rain on Monday. Lucknow recorded a minimum temperature of 25 degrees Celsius on Monday due to the impact of monsoon. According to the Met department, Rain will continue till 11th July in the state. Increased humidity in the atmosphere is expected to be a far slower rainfall in the next 24 hours.

According to meteorologists, the level of humidity has reached 100 percent due to the eastern-most winds coming from the Bay of Bengal. Such conditions are favourable for good rain. On Monday, Kanpur recorded a minimum temperature of 26 degrees Celsius, Agra 27 degrees, Fatehpur 28 degrees, Gorakhpur 28 degrees and Varanasi 25 degrees Celsius. Lucknow recorded a maximum temperature of 34.3 degrees Celsius, one degree below normal in the afternoon due to rain on Sunday.
