New Delhi: Weather conditions continue to fluctuate across the country, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) in its recent update has said that the western disturbances have once again become active in the country, which has led to thunderstorm squalls in several states of the country, saying heavy rains are expected in some states including UP, Bihar, West Bengal and Uttarakhand during the next 24 hours, so it has issued an alert here.

The department has further said that the weather in Delhi-NCR is also going to change, the department has said that Delhi will also be cloudy for the next two days. The department has said that a cyclonic circulation over Pakistan is active, affecting Kashmir and adjoining states and thereby making clouds likely to rain in many states of India. Heavy rain is also expected in Himachal, Kashmir, Uttarakhand, MP, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Kerala, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu.

Due to western disturbances, change in weather is possible in many parts of the country. Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, UP, West Bengal are also likely to receive heavy clouds for the next three days from today and an alert has been sounded here while Karnataka, Tamil Nadu is also experiencing heavy rains. The MET department says there is every possibility of drizzle on Thursday.
