New Delhi: There is a possibility of snowfall in the hilly areas of the country today. At the same time, rain is also expected in many states of North India including Delhi, and Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department has expressed this possibility. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), rain with snowfall is expected in many areas of Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand today. Sporadic snowfall and rain in these areas for the past several days have brought down the temperature.

According to the report, the mercury has gone below zero in many areas of the hilly region. Due to this, the people of those areas are facing a lot of problems. At the same time, the cold has started increasing in the hilly areas as well as in the plains. Temperatures have also dropped in Delhi-NCR. Due to the cold winds coming from the hilly areas, cold has started increasing in many states including Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi.

The Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain in many places including Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Puducherry, Andaman, and Nicobar Islands. According to the Meteorological Department, cyclonic circulation is expected to emerge over the North Andaman Sea. This will change the weather of the surrounding area.
