New Delhi: As the Western disturbance is active, the weather has suddenly changed from hilly areas to plains states. In the last 24 hours, light rain has been recorded in some parts of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, and West Bengal. The MET department has predicted rain in several states including Delhi for the next three days.

In Delhi, clouds have been camping in the sky since Monday morning. The sunshine is absent and the air remains cool. According to the MET Department (IMD), thunderstorms accompanied by rain may occur in several states including Delhi till this evening. Hailstones may also fall in some states. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), light rain may record a drop in temperature by a few degrees Celsius.

In fact, in the coming 24 hours, rain and snowfall are expected in the hilly states of Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh. There may also be hailstorms. Some districts of Uttarakhand may also see rain and snowfall. According to the MET Department, the pace of rain and snowfall will increase in these states from Monday to Wednesday, which will directly affect the plain areas.
