Apart from this, light rain is expected over sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and northeast India during the coming 24 hours. In fact, it has been said that there is a possibility of rain in the western Himalayas, Kerala, Karnataka, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada also. Assam and Meghalaya will receive rain for the next five days. Dust storms or thundershowers are forecast in parts of Punjab and Haryana. As per the skymet weather forecast, during the next 24 hours, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram and Nagaland may receive heavy to very heavy rainfall at some places with light to moderate rainfall.

Light to moderate rainfall is likely to occur over parts of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, north coastal Andhra Pradesh, western Himalayas, Sikkim, Himalayan West Bengal and east Bihar. Light rain and thundershowers may occur over Jharkhand, parts of South Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, and Odisha. On the other hand, if it rains somewhere in MP, there might be lightning somewhere.
