The continuous monsoon activity in the state is bringing peace to the farmers and the public. Due to favourable monsoon conditions, the rainy season continues in various areas. The weather department has predicted heavy rains in 8 districts on Wednesday. A yellow alert has been issued for these cities. However, despite the passage of half of August in the state due to sluggish monsoon move, it has so far received 19 percent less rain than normal.

Heavy rains may occur at some places in these districts. The Meteorological Department said that apart from Chittorgarh, Dhaulpur, Rajsamand, Kota, Jhalawar and Karauli, there is a possibility of heavy rain somewhere in Bikaner and Churu in western Rajasthan.

On Tuesday, heavy rains were recorded in many parts of the state. Among them, 71 mm was in Banasthali of Tonk, 36 mm in Sikar, 35 mm in Sriganganagar and 23 mm in Kota. Apart from this, there was also rain in Ajmer, Jaipur, Barmer, Churu and Bhilwara. Despite the heavy rains in the state, enough rain is still awaited. The month of August is half past. Despite this, 19 percent less rainfall has also been registered in the state. However, the Water Resources Department believes that normal rains have occurred in 16 districts in the state. But the matter of concern is that in areas which are known for good rain, this time too little rain has been recorded.
