Axis Bank has signed a deal with the America's largest bank Wells Fargo, as the partner American bank will offer remittances to the Indian diaspora. The deal between the two banks is scheduled to help Indian diaspora communities.
Daniel Ayala, executive vice president and group head of global remittances service at Wells Fargo said in a statement, "The beneficiary will get a competitive price for a real time transfer. From April 8, we will be waiving transaction fees for Axis Bank customers."
Himadari Chatterjee, president, and head, transactional banking at Axis Bank, while talking about the deal said, "The tie-up is the first of its kind with a US banking entity and will offer multiple channels of remittance to our customers. There will also be no restrictions on the amount of transfer.”
