Krishnanagar: A shocking incident has been reported from West Bengal. In fact, there was a heated argument in the Nadia district over a minor issue, during which the 20-year-old shot and killed his mother. The entire case has been reported by a police official. The official said today, Sunday, "The incident took place in Chandanpur village of Korupada police station area on Friday night.''

He also said in the case that eyewitnesses have said that the accused Rahul Mandal had brought home the child of a relative and wanted to keep the child there at night but an elderly relative asked him to return the child. The official further said that this led to a heated argument between the two and Mandal picked up a gun to kill him. When his mother Purnima Devi (38) tried to stop him, he shot her in the stomach and fled.

The accused has now been arrested in the case. A police official said the woman was admitted to a hospital where she died and the accused has now been arrested.
