Kolkata: Elections to be held in West Bengal in 2021 but political parties are already starting preparations for this. The BJP has emerged as a new force in the state, making the politics here interesting. After the tremendous success in the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP's confidence has increased. And because of this, she wants to see the Mamata government in 2021. BJP has made several plans for this.

The state BJP is preparing a 'talent pool' of talented people to select candidates from among its workers. According to party sources, the group aims to groom BJP workers as strong grassroots leaders. The work is likely to be completed by the end of this year or early 2020. The BJP won 18 of the 42 Lok Sabha seats in Bengal in the parliamentary elections held in April-May this year. The ruling Trinamool Congress had won 22 seats. The BJP had got only two seats in 2014.

State BJP Chief Dilip Ghosh said, 'We have started the process of identifying four members of our party from every constituency to form a group of talented people. Elected party workers will be groomed as future organizational leaders and potential candidates for the 2021 assembly election.

BJP's Bengal in-charge and national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya said, 'Districts and local areas, where the first leaders were appointed in the name of only appointment, will be replaced by good and skilled people, but those who are good organizers and leaders, they will be to be retained in new committees. Let me tell you that this is the important state of eastern India on the target of the saffron family, where it has never come to power till date.
