Mamata Banerjee to lose in Bengal assembly elections: Giriraj Singh

New Delhi: Union Minister Giriraj Singh recently said, "Mamata Banerjee is going to lose in West Bengal assembly elections, this is why she is shocked." You will all know that Mamata had alleged in the past that Home Minister Amit Shah intervened in the functioning of the Election Commission and demanded free and fair elections. On his statement, Giriraj has made a counterpoint. Recently, Giriraj Singh said, "Mamata is trying everything to win. He is accusing Home Minister Amit Shah. Has he forgotten that many BJP workers have been killed? If we don't go to the Election Commission, who should go to?"

In fact, earlier, while attacking the center, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had said "Will the Home Minister run the country or decide who will be arrested or beaten up. Will he decide which agency to follow? Who is running the Election Commission?" Hopefully, Amit Shah is not doing this to you. We want free and fair elections. He is interfering in the day-to-day functioning of the election Commission. 294 seats will be polled in eight phases from March 27. Counting of votes will be held on 2nd May.

Mamata, however, has also alleged that the BJP is plotting to assassinate her as the election commission has removed her security director Vivek Sahai after he was injured in Nandigram last week. In addition, he has also alleged that 'BJP is trying to interfere in Bengal on the strength of muscle power, but we will not allow external goons in Bengal to contest elections or interfere in the state.'
