Kolkata: Counting of votes is underway for a total of 822 assembly seats in four states and one Union Territory today. You must be aware that the polling in West Bengal took place in eight phases between March 27 and April 29. Now, if you look at the exit poll results, it has been speculated that Mamata Banerjee may become chief minister for the third time. Talking about the trends between all of them, BJP seems to be lagging behind and TMC moving forward. Bengal BJP president Dilip Ghosh has made a statement after BJP fell far behind TMC.

Recently, he said, "It is too early to say that BJP is losing. This is the initial trend right now, the real picture will be out in two to three hours. Nothing can be said unless 50 percent of the votes are cowed.'' Seeing the TMC gaining the upper hand beside him, BJP in-charge Vijayvargiya has said, "It would be too early to talk about it now. The situation will be clear by evening. Locket Chatterjee was expected to be behind, but Babul da would stay behind, it was not anticipated. We knew that Locket Chatterjee and Swapan Das Ji would be behind for four or five rounds.''

Talking to a well-known website, he said, "We think Trinamool Congress chief and Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee will lose by nearly 25,000 votes in Nandigram. Mamata is losing. On Prashant Kishore's remarks that BJP did not touch the 100 marks, Kailash Vijayvargiya said he would see by evening. We'll move on. We will come forward in Birbhoomi, we will come forward in Hubli. There are some districts where we are now lagging behind, but we will come forward later.''
