Kolkata: The Bengal BJP has been on a rampage after the announcement of a new committee of the West Bengal state executive. 4 more MLAs from Bankura have also separated from another WhatsApp group after 5 BJP MLAs from North 24 Parganas left the WhatsApp group after they were enraged by the non-representation of the Matua community in the state committee. The MLAs include MLA Niladrisekhar Dana of Bankura, Amarnath Branch of Onda, Diwakar Gharami of Sonamukhi and Nirmal Dhada MLA in Indas.

However, the 'specified reason' for these MLAs being separated from the WhatsApp group is not known. Some party workers say that Bankura MLAs have not left a group of BJP MLAs, but have left the 'social media group, where party MLAs are apprised of reports published about the BJP in various media. Former Union minister and TMC BJP leader Babul Supriyo on Sunday slammed his former party and expressed the possibility that five disgruntled MLAs who left the WhatsApp group of BJP MLAs from West Bengal may now part ways with the party as well.

Babul Supriyo left the BJP three months ago and joined the Trinamool Congress, however, one of the five MLAs, Ambika Roy, expressed her desire to rejoin the WhatsApp group, saying she had made a mistake and wanted to remain a loyal BJP soldier.
