CM Mamata Banerjee has attacked BJP on religion this time. In a program in Kolkata to keep her point, on Thursday, Mamta said that religion teaches men to respect women and sisters. Religion is not just about giving big religious teachings. Mamta Banerjee said that religions have taught India to live with mutual brotherhood, not to divide and exploit. He said, Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Swami Vivekananda, Guru Nanak, Lord Buddha, Gandhiji and others instilled a sense of goodwill among the people.

In her statement, Mamta said that we love an unbroken India, and not divide each other. We have many deities here and we worship everyone. He said Hinduism has taught to greet everyone with open arms, to be restrained and to be tolerant. He said that our welfare is possible only by the welfare of the country. Our strength is unity in diversity.

Apart from this, Mamta further said that in 2018, a program was organized in America on the occasion of 125 years of Swami Vivekananda's historic speech. I wanted to go there. I was informed that the program has been cancelled due to some reasons. Mamta alleged that I know the pressure was put on the organizers because I had expressed my desire to go there.
