Kolkata: After the announcement of assembly elections in West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Puducherry, political stir has intensified here. All the parties have campaigned with full vigor and are trying to do the public in their favor. In this sequence, the CM of West Bengal and the National President of the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) will lead the election committee meeting on Monday.

Along with this, CM Mamata Banerjee will meet Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav. CM and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee will preside over the election committee meeting at her residence in Kalighat on Monday. Tejashwi Yadav reached Kolkata on Sunday in the episode of his four-day tour. At the activist conference held at Belia Ghat there, he tapped the pulse of the party people.

RJD Principal General Secretary Abdul Bari Siddiqui says that RJD leaders-activists have spoken about going to the polls to defeat the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Authorized RJD supremo Lalu Prasad for a final decision. The Leader of Opposition will convey the entire situation to the National President of the party.
