Kolkata: Singer Gurdas Maan is once again seen getting caught in controversies. A Durga Puja committee of Kolkata has filed a complaint against him for breaking the agreement. They are accused that Singer refused to perform in the already scheduled program. Durga Puja Committee of 22 Pali had called Gurdas for a singing performance on Navratri days i.e. on October 6, but Gurdas Maan canceled his program after reaching Kolkata Airport.
In fact, the hitmaker of 'Ki Banu Duniya Da' came to know that the replica (copying) of the Golden Temple near the performance site has been used, which singer Gurdas did not like. He said that the organizers at the place of worship have insulted the morality of Sikhism, after which he refused to perform. Regarding the cancellation of the event, Mann said, "The organizers have constructed a replica of the Golden Temple, where people are wearing shoes with open head and feet."
The singer further said, "Sad, even if the organizers find it bad, but I cannot do it. It is against my personal religion and feelings about the place of religion. I am very surprised by this carelessness." However, the Pooja Committee claims that they were well informed beforehand and the singer was fully aware of the pandal theme.
