Kolkata: The festival of Durga Puja is celebrated with great enthusiasm across the country, although in Bengal, during this festival, there is a different enthusiasm. Here various types of pandals are prepared for worship. This time in West Bengal, a puja pandal has been built in memory of those who were killed in the political violence that broke out after the assembly elections. The family members of Abhijit Sarkar, who was a BJP worker, are also associated with this event. Let us tell you that Abhijit Sarkar was also assassinated.

This special pandal has been built in Kolkata. Black cloth has been used in this pandal. Worship is being performed in the memory of those killed in the post-poll violence last year. According to the report, instead of chants or loud music, the cries of the mother on the killing of her children will be heard in this pandal. According to reports, this pandal has been prepared on the theme of post-poll violence in Kankurgachi, Kolkata. The puja is organized by Saraswati Kali Mata Mandir Parishad Club. The club also celebrates Durga Puja along with Saraswati and Kali Puja. The theme has been named 'Maydar Kanna, Raktat Bengal' (Mother's crying and bloody Bengal).

Let us inform you that in May, after the declaration of the Bengal Assembly Election 2021 results, Trinamool Congress (TMC) goons killed BJP worker Abhijit Sarkar. It was the government that established this club in 2020. He was also one of the organizers of this puja. Now Abhijit's brother Biswajit Sarkar is in charge of the puja. But, a lot has changed for the family after Abhijit's death. The organizers have put the black cloth in the puja pandal to express their condolences and also kept the idol of Maa Durga in the dark.

Biswajit says getting emotional, 'Celebration doesn't matter to us or to those who have seen how my brother was killed here. People remember how he was dragged and brutally killed. He was very excited about worshipping Maa Durga in 2020. He had made all the arrangements for the worship. We are still saddened by his passing. Durga Puja in Bengal is celebrated to give a social message. Through this puja, we are celebrating the grief of those killed in the election violence.'

Let us inform you that after the victory of Trinamool Congress (TMC) in West Bengal was ensured, not only were BJP candidates attacked on the voting day, but party offices were also burnt and murdered. On 2 May 2021, Abhijit Sarkar had told about the actions of TMC goons, shortly after which he was beaten to death. Abhijit Sarkar told this through Facebook Live. He didn't even know how to go live on Facebook, but he somehow made a video and told that TMC goons were continuously bombarding and ransacking his house and office. He had said that his only mistake is that he is a BJP worker.
