Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar target Mamata says, 'No advice for appointment of Vice-Chancellor…'

Trinamool Congress (TMC) government led by Mamta Banerjee has put a mark on West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankar. He said that there are policy flaws in the higher education system of the state and that as the chancellor of the universities, the dialogue between me and the state's higher education department is a state of nothingness.

In his statement, the Governor said that recently he was not consulted in the appointment of the Vice-Chancellor of Sanskrit College, Kolkata, which he is sad about. All these things need attention. He said, 'Dialogue with the Chancellor in the Ministry of Higher Education is a state of nothingness. This is a policy flaw and I am worried about it. I am trying to create better conditions of education in universities.'

During an interview, Governor was asked, "Is Education Minister Partha Chatterjee responsible for dialogue with the government and other things? In response to this question, the Governor said that this issue is not about personal accountability. It is associated with the cabinet headed by the Chief Minister of the state. After these allegations of Dhankhar, once again the possibility of face to face interaction between Mamata Government and Governor has increased. Since taking over as Governor in July, the Dhankhar and Mamta governments have clashed on many issues.
