Kolkata: In West Bengal, the politics started in Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker Madan Ghorai's death in suspicious circumstances. Now Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar has written a letter to CM Mamata Banerjee regarding Madan's death. In his letter, the governor has said that there is resentment among the people about the chaos happening in the state.

Governor Dhankar has written to CM Mamata that there is resentment both in the state and outside the state in West Bengal. On October 8, the case of police excesses with Balwinder Singh has already become the poster boy for human rights violations. It is noteworthy that in the East Medinipur district of West Bengal, a BJP worker has been in political custody due to the death of the police in suspicious circumstances.

The BJP has accused the police of murdering him and demanded a CBI inquiry into the matter. The deceased Madan Ghorai was the local booth Vice-President. Kailash Vijayvargiya, BJP national general secretary and in-charge of West Bengal, termed it a political murder in police custody and said that all this was done at the instigation of Mamata Ji and Trinamool.
