Kolkata: West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee is gearing up for the 2021 assembly elections. Mamata Banerjee is scheduled to stage a mega rally in Kolkata today. The rally is being organised in the name of Martyrs' Day. The rally is expected to reach a large number of TMC supporters.
According to information, Mamata Banerjee will pay homage to the 13 people who were martyred in 1993 during the rally to be held today. A number of arrangements have been made by the TMC for the rally. The Kolkata Police has also made all preparations for the event. Special security arrangements have been made to ensure that Mamata does not suffer any shock slight injuries at the rally. Experts believe that Mamata Banerjee will not only engage with activists and the public but also communicate with her while taking lessons from the Lok Sabha elections.
Mamata Banerjee is reportedly a little worried about the TMC's performance in the Lok Sabha elections and does not want to take any risk in the upcoming assembly elections. The rally is being seen as a highlight after the BJP's spectacular performance in Bengal in the Lok Sabha elections.
