Western Railways Cancels 20 Trains Due to Low Passenger Numbers

PRAYAGRAJ: Due to insufficient passenger numbers, the Western Railway has made the decision to cancel 20 special trains.

Himanshu Shekhar Upadhyay, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of North Central Railway (NCR), confirmed the cancellation of several special trains for a specific period. Among them is the Mumbai Central-Varanasi weekly train (train number 09183), which will not be operational between July 19 and August 30.

Furthermore, the Banaras-Mumbai weekly train (train number 09184) has been canceled for the duration of July 21 to September 1. Similarly, the Ahmedabad-Patna weekly train (train number 09417) will not run between July 24 and August 28, and the Patna-Ahmedabad Weekly train (train number 09418) will be canceled from July 25 to August 29. Passengers traveling on the Ahmedabad-Darbhanga weekly train (train number 09421) can expect no service from July 17 to August 28. The Darbhanga-Ahmedabad weekly train (train number 09422) is also canceled from July 19 to August 30. Additionally, the Ahmedabad-Samastipur weekly train (train number 09413) will not operate from July 18 to August 29.

In a similar vein, the Samastipur-Ahmedabad weekly train (train number 09414) will not be running between July 20 and August 31. The Vapi-Izzatnagar bi-weekly train (train number 09005) will not be operational from July 16 to August 27.

Likewise, the Izzatnagar-Vapi bi-weekly train (train number 09006) stands canceled between July 17 and August 28. The Valsad-Danapur weekly train (train number 09025) is not in service from July 24 to August 28, and the Danapur-Valsad weekly train (train number 09026) will not run between July 25 and August 29. Furthermore, the Danapur-Jammu Tawi weekly train (train number 09097) is canceled from July 17 to August 28.

Moreover, the Jammu Tawi-Danapur train (train number 09098) will not be operational from July 18 to August 29. The Dr. Ambedkar Nagar-Patna weekly train (train number 09343) will not run between July 21 and August 25, and the Patna-Ambedkar Nagar weekly train (train number 09344) will be canceled on July 22 and August 26. The Surat-Subedarganj weekly train (train number 09117) will not operate on July 21 and August 25, and the Subedarganj-Surat weekly train (train number 09118) is canceled between July 22 and August 26. Similarly, the Indore-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra weekly train (train number 09321) will not run from July 26 to August 30, while the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Indore Weekly train (train number 09322) is canceled from July 28 to September 1.
