New Delhi: In the book launch program of 'Ambedkar and Modi,' Union Minister Anurag Thakur talked in detail about Ambedkar and Modi's reformer ideas. Anurag Thakur said that what Babasaheb Ambedkar thought, Modi Ji did it. PM Modi had talked about having a government of the poor and the underprivileged and has been fulfilling it for eight years. Thakur further said, 'Modi Ji has made Babasaheb's dreams come true. If any government has fulfilled the dreams of Ambedkar Ji, it is the Modi government. Ambedkar used to talk about the development of the underprivileged by industrial development. PM Narendra Modi has done industrial development through Made in India encouragement.'
He further said that, because of education, iniquities are left behind. The former President and the present President are examples of this. Anurag Thakur further said that education policy has brought many benefits. Many IIMs and medical colleges were established in the country. PM Modi has fulfilled Babasaheb's dreams through toilet, gas, and bank account etc. The SC-ST community has also benefited from Standup India. People also benefited from the Svanidhi scheme. India has become an exporter instead of an importer in the defence sector.
The Union Minister further said that the 'Modi government got freedom from 370 and 35A. Due to this, the people there also got the benefit of political reservation. GST is also an example of cooperative federalism. Modi ji has done the work of completing Panch Teerth. The Modi government has done the work of recognising Ambedkar Internationally. Modi ji announced a holiday on 14 April. The program also started in the United Nations on 14 April.' He also said 'More than 10 per cent in the Modi government are from backward society.'
