In this sequence of efforts for opposition unity, an important meeting was held between CM KCR and former Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy in Hyderabad on Sunday. After the meeting, Kumaraswamy advocated for KCR's entry into national politics. He said that he will play an important role in the politics of the country. Both leaders recognized the need for dynamic governance suited to the current social and economic conditions. People are fed up with conservative politics. There is a need for alternative politics in the country.
