Instant messaging app WhatsApp is releasing new features every day to woo its users. Whatsapp has just released three new features. Now the company can make another new change in its app. According to a report, WhatsApp is scheduled to release a new feature Picture-in-Picture (PIP) mode for your video calling.
Will Work on Android O -
According to a tweet from Webbetainfo, this version of the new features that are running on the developer preview of Android O WhatsApp app has looked at 2.17.265. Because of this API, this feature is only for the beta version of Android O, which will enable this feature to be enabled. Webbetainfo further stated that Android 8.0 O has its own API which is what WhatsApp has used to enable this feature.

The PIP Mode feature is shown in leaked screenshots. PIP mode is used for video calls. Through this feature is video calling on WhatsApp users can talk on the call in a small window. This means that users can work on any other app while talking.
These new features recently released -
It includes file sharing of any format, photo bundle, and text format. These were previously released only for beta versions. However, these updates are now being released to Android users. Information about when it will be released for iOS is not available right now.
