WhatsApp has launched a new sticker pack called 'Vaccine for All' to encourage users for coronavirus vaccine. With this sticker pack, WhatsApp has appreciated health workers around the world. The new sticker pack has been developed in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO). WhatsApp has partnered with more than 150 national, state, and local governments as well as organizations including WHO and UNICEF to offer certified covid-19 information and resources for their global use. Various bodies have also started reporting covid-19 helpline numbers, vaccination, and registration on WhatsApp.
The 'Vaccine for All Stickers' on WhatsApp has 23 different stickers designed by WHO. It is available for download on both Android and IOS and aims to make people "happy, relieved and hopeful about the covid-19 vaccine." Some stickers in the new pack have also been launched to praise healthcare workers. In a statement, Andy Pattinson, digital channel, team lead, WHO, said, "As covid-19 vaccines are being administered around the world, the new sticker pack aims to encourage vaccination and further boost hope.''
In addition to the new sticker pack, WhatsApp ​has linked the covid-19 helpline to various national, state, and local governments and institutions such as WHO and UNICEF since the outbreak of the epidemic. The Instant Messaging App claimed that more than three billion messages have been sent through these global helplines in the last year.
