SAN FRANCISCO: Meta-owned WhatsApp has added some new stickers to its avatar sticker pack for Android and iOS, subsequent on its announcement of the ability to create personalised avatars. Other than the picture-in-picture mode, the new update also includes the ability to attach a caption to the documents, and longer group subjects and descriptions to make it easier to describe the groups.

Despite the avatar pack having the same number of stickers, the adjustments have given it more personality and depth by revamping and changing some stickers in order to increase their visual appeal and reflect the wide range of emotions and expressions users seek to portray, reports WABetaInfo.

All users of WhatsApp for iOS and Android now have access to new stickers from the avatar pack, said the report
Users may now customise their avatars via the app settings by selecting the form, color, outfits, and various accessories that best represent them. They can utilise their avatar as their profile picture once they've produced it.
Picture-in-picture capability for video calls is apparently being rolled out by WhatsApp for all iOS users.

Users can now multitask during a WhatsApp call without their video pausing thanks to this functionality in the new update.

The new update also adds longer group subjects and descriptions to make it easier to describe the groups, the ability to attach a caption to the documents, and picture-in-picture mode.
