New update done by Whatsapp can harm the security of users, its end to end encryption process can invite intruder to harm the security of the application. Third party can get into the encryption link and read all the personal messages of user.

Whatsapp gave explanation to the issue saying that," Whatsapp doesn't give governments a "back door" into its system and would fight any government requests to create a backdoor. The design decision referenced in the guardian story prevents millions of messages from being lost and Whatsapp offers people security notifications to alert them to potential security risks."

Company says that it is nothing insecure in the end to end encryption, rather it is useful step for the users to maintain security.
