Facebook-owned instant messaging app WhatsApp's payment service is set to launch in India, but just before that the company has been accused of abusing its rights. The case is being investigated by the Competition Commission of India (CCI). In mid-March, a case was registered against WhatsApp, which is now under investigation. According to a media reporter, it is alleged on Facebook that he is misusing his hold in the digital world regarding his WhatsApp payment.

The report said that Facebook wants to monopolize the digital payment sector and for this it wants to misuse its dominance. This complaint has been made by a lawyer, though his identity has not been revealed yet. The matter is currently being investigated by CCI, although it is in the initial stage, but if the Commission feels that Facebook really tightens the grip of WhatsApp payment. If you are using your supremacy to do wrong, then the payment service of WhatsApp can get in trouble.

The company has made all preparations for WhatsApp payment service. There are 400 million users of WhatsApp in India, which is the highest compared to any country.Note that WhatsApp started beta testing of WhatsApp payment in the year 2018. About 1 million people are testing WhatsApp payment service in India, but its official launching is still pending after two years. Recently, we have a Facebook partnership with Jio under which WhatsApp payment is to be used for payment at Geomart.
