USA: To improve the in-app experience when navigating through the app settings, WhatsApp is working on redesigning its iOS settings page.
In the meantime, the Meta-owned Android platform is working on a new keyboard with an emoji category bar and other features. Although neither feature is yet ready for public use, WABetaInfo at least allows us to take a look.
The settings page on WhatsApp will soon be updated.A bar showing the user's profile photo will replace the settings tab.Three shortcuts will also be added to make it easier to access Privacy Settings, Contact List, and Profile.Additionally, WhatsApp will roll out a new shortcut that enables users to view and share their unique QR code. Additionally, this might be useful in financial transactions.
WhatsApp is committed to enhancing user experience, as evidenced by the ongoing in-app changes it makes. Future iterations of the platform's user interface might include more improvements to the interface, starting with the smaller details like a new settings page. As you may remember, there have already been a few minor upgrades, including a translucent effect for the bottom tab and a new look for various in-app sections.

A new emoji category bar and a revamped keyboard will soon be available on WhatsApp. The tabs that provide quick access to keyboard features like emoji, GIF, and sticker selection will be moved upward with the new update. In order to match the design on desktop and iOS, WhatsApp is also expected to move the attachment sharing and emoji keyboard buttons.
The features are still in development, so it might take some time for WhatsApp to make them available to all users. Install the most recent WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.11.0.75 and Android 2.23.12.8 if you want to check out the features.
