New Delhi:- WhatsApp is trying out two new things on Android to make the app safer and make it simpler for people to send messages to multiple contacts at once. The new security feature on WhatsApp helps you handle unwanted contact more easily. It shows you tools that are already available on the app.

Meta, the company that owns WhatsApp, added this feature to make the app safer for users. These new features have been given to some people who have signed up to try out the new version of WhatsApp for Android. They will probably be available to everyone else sometime in the future.

In the newest WhatsApp update for Android, there is now a Safety tools section that appears when someone you don't know messages you for the first time. The new card found on the beta version of WhatsApp tells you how profile photos and sender's phone numbers work on the app.

Based on information from WABetaInfo, the chat app will show a card with two choices when someone you don't know messages you for the first time. You can either block them or report them. These options have been available on WhatsApp for a long time - you can block or report someone. However, if we make it easier for users to access these features, they can easily deal with the problem of getting unwanted spam messages with just a few taps on their devices.

The new safety tools tab will also let you know that WhatsApp users themselves choose their profile photos and usernames, and these are not checked or confirmed by the platform. This is probably to tell people to be cautious when texting people they don't know and to safeguard themselves from scams that are common on messaging apps. WhatsApp also wants users to make sure they check the country code when they reply to messages from people they know.

WABetaInfo says that the new WhatsApp beta for Android update lets you easily share information with a group of contacts. After you install the beta version, you will find a choice to make a new group in the top right corner of the screen when you are sending a message on WhatsApp.

The quick way to make a group when sending a message will probably make it simpler to share things on WhatsApp. In the regular version of WhatsApp, you have to make a group first. After that, you can choose the message you want to send to that group.

Both of these new features are still being tested, and there is no information about when they will be available to all users on the stable channel. WhatsApp hasn't released these features to testers on iOS yet. This means it might take a few weeks before they are available for all users on iOS and Android.
