Many people have been killed in the country because of the spread of fake news through Whatsapp. The government has expressed serious concerns about this, after which Facebook's partner company Whatsapp has said that they will research on why rumours are being spread on this platform in India so fast.

Whatsapp's spokesperson said in a statement: "Whatsapp 's the serious concern is about the safety of our users. Whatsapp the most important sharing media platform in India. We are working together to remove such problems."

It is worth noting that Whatsapp has more than 200 million active active users in India. On improving its understanding of security problems of users, Whatsapp said that he is launching a number of awards in India for researchers interested in finding issues related to wrong information on WhatsApp.

The Ministry of Information has asked the Ministry of Information on Tuesday to take necessary measures to stop false news on its platform and sometimes prohibit the spread of inspired and sensational messages for a particular purpose. After which the company has taken this step.

WhatsApp has said that he wants to run a long time public safety campaign in India and for that, they have been doing a new label test for some time now. This label shows when the user forwarded messages and when did they write. Through this, the user who has been sent the message will know that the content he is reading is written or any rumour has been sent to spread it.
