In a bid to enhance user experience, WhatsApp has introduced a revamped interface for its Android and iOS beta applications. This new user interface incorporates a refreshing design, novel icons, and a distinct shade of green. The discerning eyes at WABetaInfo first noticed this transformation in the WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.21.1.70 update and WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.23.21.12. Furthermore, the WhatsApp Business Android beta app is also undergoing a visual makeover.

Notably, these modifications are currently visible only to a select group of beta testers. Therefore, it's possible that even if you install the latest beta versions of the app, you may not immediately encounter the new interface. Let's delve into the specifics.

WhatsApp's Redesigned User Interface for Android and iOS

WhatsApp's newly reimagined interface boasts an array of fresh icons and buttons, along with an updated shade of green for its theme, adaptable to both light and dark modes. These alterations encompass the entire application, from the appearance of chat bubbles and the floating action button to the settings menu.

In a significant shift, the Android beta application's user interface now more closely resembles its iOS counterpart. WhatsApp has repositioned the navigation tabs to the bottom row for Android beta users. Consequently, Chats, Updates, Communities, and Calls are now conveniently accessible at the bottom navigation bar, rather than being situated above the chat list.

In related developments, WhatsApp has embarked on the creation of a new search feature for its web client. Once implemented, this feature will empower users to search for messages by date, greatly enhancing their ability to find specific conversations.
