Kolkata: West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee's plane survived the crash before landing. In fact, a second plane came in front of their plane, which could have caused a major accident, but the pilot's wisdom avoided the accident. Mamata thanked the flight's pilot for saving her life.
Referring to the flight incident, Mamata Banerjee said in the Bengal Assembly on Monday, "I was returning from Benaras. Suddenly the second plane came in front of my plane. The pilot showed understanding and the plane suddenly fell 8,000 feet. If it was delayed by 10 seconds, there could have been a major accident.'' TMC Supremo further said I have had pain in my back and body since that incident. Mamata further said that the cause of the incident is not known. We have not received any report from the ATC and the Director-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) so far. According to the agency, Mamata was onboard the Dassault Falcon 2000 plane while returning from Varanasi. It is a lightweight plane of 10.3 tons. A maximum of 19 people, including the crew of the plane was on board.
Let us know that Mamata Banerjee had reached Varanasi on March 3 to campaign in favour of Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav. After campaigning, she returned to Kolkata by plane. The incident took place while landing at the Kolkata airport. However, at that time, there was talk of air turbulence. It was reported that due to the air turbulence, tremors were felt in her flight. In fact, when the air collides uncontrollably with a flight flying in the sky, air turbulence is created in the plane. This causes the plane to go up and down.
