Dehradun: A big news is coming out from Uttarakhand in which Nainital police have solved the mystery of Anjali Arya's disappearance and arrested her boyfriend Yameen. Mohammad Yameen Ahmed had killed Anjali by slitting her throat after she put pressure of marriage. The decomposed body of the girl has also been seized 24 days after she went missing. Anjali Arya, a resident of Khadakpur village of Motahaldu under Lalkuan police station of Nainital, had left for college on August 3 but did not return home. The family searched for her a lot, but she could not be found. Later, the family came to know that she also took jewellery with her. Thereafter, they lodged a missing person's report at the police station.
The police, who are investigating the case, started scanning the CDR of Anjali's mobile number. Due to this, it was found that she was constantly talking on a number. When the police checked, the number turned out to be that of Yameen Ahmed, a resident of village Bara. The police arrested Yameen Ahmed and started interrogating him. The pick-up driver, Yameen, broke down from questioning and confessed to killing 18-year-old Anjali, confessing his love affair. At the instance of Yameen, the police seized Anjali's decomposed body from the dense forest some distance ahead of the forest department post on Shaktifarm Road. After 24 days of the murder, the body was badly decomposed. It was eaten by insects. There was only a skeleton left in it.
During interrogation, Yameen told the police that he met Anjali on a social media site. While discussing there, the closeness between the two increased. At the same time, some media reports were being told that the story of love started with a missed call from Yameen and he gradually took Anjali into his trap. Gradually, the two started talking for hours on the phone and started meeting. There was a love affair between the two. Later, Anjali started pressurising Yameen to marry, but Yameen kept avoiding her. Seeing Anjali's pressure, Yameen planned to dispose of her. During interrogation, Yameen said that on August 3, Anjali came and called him. They both met there. After that, Anjali put pressure on him to marry again. This time Yameen called one of his colleagues Sachin Saxena. Yameen took the two on a motorcycle to a deserted forest. On reaching the forest, Yameen took out a knife and strangled Anjali. Anjali died there. From there, both of them went to their house. However, Sachin also did not report the incident to the police. Later, at the instance of Yameen, the police arrested his accomplice. At the same time, the knife used in the murder and Anjali's purse has been seized.
