Amitabh Bachchan needs no introduction.  He is popularly known as Big B. Amitabh had worked in various movies and the actor enjoyed a massive fan following. If you want to name an era of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan is probably the best name. No one can replace him. Meanwhile, Big B also remains in news because of his love affair with Rekha. Various people also compares his love life with his movie Silsila.

Unfortunately, Amitabh was already married to Jaya Bachchan, but their romance continued. Rekha and Amitabh Bachchan’s 1978 film, Muqaddar Ka Sikander had some love scenes.

Rekha had shared that she had seen Jaya Bachchan crying watching those scenes. Talking about the incident, she had said, “Once, I was looking at the whole (Bachchan) family through the projection room when they came to see the trial show of Muqaddar Ka Sikandar. Jaya was sitting in the front row and he (Amitabh) and his parents were in the row behind her. They couldn’t see her as clearly as I could. And during our love scenes, I could see tears pouring down her face.”

Rekha had further added, “A week later, everybody in the industry was telling me that he has made it clear to his producers that he was not going to work with me.”

There is another popular incident, when Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha were all set to be cast opposite each other in producer Tito Tony’s Ram Balram, and Jaya Bachchan wasn’t happy. Rekha was finally cast in Ram Balram and Zeenat Aman being paired opposite Dharmendra. Jaya Bachchan was furious with this development and tried convincing Amitabh Bachchan to reject the movie, but he didn’t budge.  As per reports Jaya once visited the sets, and when she saw Rekha and Amitabh speaking in private, she lost it. Jaya Bachchan lost her cool and, in the heat of the moment, slapped Rekha.
