New Delhi: The ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government is gearing up to open schools in Delhi after the coronavirus infection cases have declined. Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia held a press conference on Wednesday afternoon seeking suggestions from the people on starting schools. He said whether schools and colleges should be opened in Delhi or not. The people of the state should give their suggestions in this regard.

He said people can give their suggestions on e-mail ID- DelhiSchools21@gmail.com. Based on these suggestions, it will be decided to open or close schools in Delhi.  Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia said students, parents, teachers, and principals can give their opinion on opening schools.  He said, based on the suggestions received on the DelhiSchools21@gmail.com, the ruling Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi will take a decision on the opening of schools.

Tell you that schools have been opened in all districts including Gurugram, Faridabad in Haryana adjoining Delhi from 16th July and 23rd July to 12th in 2 phases. In the first phase, schools were opened from 16th July from 9th to 12th and from 23rd July from 6th to 8th. However, the option of online has also been kept along with offline. Parents are also not under pressure to send their children to school.
