On Sunday, June 14, Sushant Singh Rajput surprised everyone by committing suicide. After his death, people are remembering stories related to him. One such incident is of 2018 when there was a terrible flood in Kerala. Millions of people were affected by the flood and many people lost their lives. A fan from Sushant had said on Instagram, "I don't have money but I want to donate some food items. How to do it."

Sushant wrote to the fan, writing, "I'll donate one crore in your name." After this, Sushant shared a screenshot on social media after donating and wrote a thank you for giving me a chance, "As promised my friend, @subhamranjan66, what you wanted to do has been done. You made me do this, so be extremely proud of yourself. You delivered exactly when it was needed. Lots and lots of love. FLY Cheers#MyKerala #KeralaReliefFunds". In the year 2018, he had donated 1.25 crores to the people affected by the floods in Assam. While recalling Sushant, the writer-director Chaudutt Acharya has said this in a Facebook post. Charu's father PB Acharya was the Governor of Assam between 2014-19.

Sushant had also donated 1.25 crores for those affected by the Kerala floods. Recently, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan also issued a statement remembering him, saying, "We are very sad to hear the news of Sushant Singh Rajput's death. The film industry has suffered due to his death. I am with his family, friends and fans in this hour of grief. I also remember his help during the time of Kerala flood. Sushant was a very good-hearted person and was always ahead to help anyone."
