Lucknow: A shocking incident has come to light in Banda, Uttar Pradesh. Enraged by his father's scolding, a drunken youth jumped into the well, which created a stir in the area. On the news of the man jumping into the well, the police reached took the young man out of the well after one and a half hours of hard work and admitted him to the hospital. Fortunately, the well was dry and people had seen him jumping, otherwise he could have died in case of swamp or water. 

The incident is of Santoshi Nagar of the Tindwari police station area. Mahesh, the son of Ramsjeevan, who lives here, reached home in a drunken state, when his father reprimanded him for being drunk, he angrily jumped into a nearby well. Seeing him jumping into the well, people raised an alarm after which the villagers informed the police. With the help of the people of the village, the police took the drug addict youth out of the well by placing a cot and admitted him to the hospital. According to the police, the youth was so drunk that he could not even speak. 

SHO Narendra Pratap Singh of Tindwari police station said that on receiving the news, the police immediately reached the spot, where the young man was taken out of the well with the help of a rope by putting a cot, his condition is stable, he was drunk and could not even speak. The SHO said that he was angry with the scolding by the family members, so he jumped into the well.
